Kyle Bass is an Associate at Butler.  Kyle works out of our Tampa office and specializes in First-Party Property Coverage and Extra-Contractual Claims.  Kyle earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Business Law from Stetson University in DeLand, FL in 2011.  He then attended Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, FL where he earned his Juris Doctor degree and a Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy in 2015.  While at Stetson Law, Kyle received both the Leadership Award as well as the William F. Blews Award for his effort and dedication to legal pro bono work.

Prior to joining our firm, Kyle served the People of the State of Florida as an Assistant State Attorney for the 6th Judicial Circuit where he handled hundreds of cases mostly consisting of DUIs and Theft.

Kyle has also served in the United States Army as an Officer in the Judge Advocate General Corps and currently still serves in the JAGC as a Reserve Officer.  Kyle was most recently assigned to Fort McNair and Joint Base Myer Henderson Hall in the Military District of Washington in Washington, D.C.  From D.C., Kyle was moved and stationed in Augusta, GA with the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence at Fort Gordon.  As a Reserve Officer, Kyle is attached to the 154th Legal Operations Detachment Trial Defense Service where he assists in fighting for and defending soldiers’ rights.
