Anita Bittner is an Associate at Butler. Anita works in our Tampa office, where she specializes in First-Party Property Coverage, Extra-Contractual issues, as well as fraud and bad faith claims.

Anita received her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Regent University. She then graduated with a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers-Camden School of Law in New Jersey in 2015. While in law school, Anita served as a publication editor on the Rutgers University Law Review and represented the school at the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition in New York City.

Before joining Butler, Anita served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Anthony M. Pugliese at the Superior Court of New Jersey. She then joined the Division of Law at the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General as a deputy attorney general. During her time at the Office of the Attorney General, Anita prosecuted cases involving insurance fraud and brought enforcement actions against insurance producers and public adjusters on behalf of the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance. Anita is licensed to practice law in Florida, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
