Emily Chalela Ayvazian is an Associate at Butler and is based in our Tampa office. She practices in First-Party Property Coverage.

Emily received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Central Florida in 2012 and her Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City in 2015. While in law school, Emily served as the Executive Editor of the Cardozo Journal of Law and Gender and completed the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program and the Innocence Project Clinic.

Prior to joining Butler, Emily served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, where she handled violent felony cases from indictment to trial. In addition, Emily wrote and successfully argued an appellate brief before the New York Appellate Division, First Judicial Department.

Emily is licensed to practice law in both New York and Florida.
