Disciplined in Sophisticated Defense and Insurance Litigation

Jeff Gionet’s goal is to save his clients’ money by providing the most efficient and effective level of services.  As an Associate in the Tampa Office who specializes in First-Party Property Coverage, Jeff has settled hundreds of cases and is known for digging his heels into complex casework in order to limit his clients’ exposure. A recent example involved a large residential property that sustained damage by hurricane force winds. After extensive litigation, and retaining a top-notch engineer, the case settled for a fraction of the original demand due to rigorous investigations and perfectly honed negotiation skills. He’s also adept at handling cases involving water damage stemming from a variety of causes and navigating his clients through otherwise murky waters.

Jeff knows how to build a case from the ground up. His past experience in construction taught him that law, much like construction, requires a solid framework, making sure each step is strategically laid out before his clients. Jeff’s ability to turn seemingly impossible circumstances into manageable ones, all while saving clients time and money, is what he aims to do every day.

An ‘all hands on deck’ type of man, Jeff enjoys giving his time and efforts towards community initiatives around the firm. Jeff has lugged steel frames down highways and sorted through supplies for the Habitat for Humanity organization. He’s also packed bags of goodies for ailing children in hospitals all around the Tampa Bay area through The Message of Hope Foundation, leaving smiles on the faces of those that he’s helped in his community.
