About
Katelyn Mae Ferry, a Senior Associate at Butler, works in our Tampa office. She practices in First-Party Property Coverage, working in arson, fraud, and coverage defense cases. Some of her case types include civil remedy notices, homeowner’s coverage, property coverage, insurance fraud, and theft. Katelyn also has a wide array of experience in topics such as coverage law and commercial and complex liability litigation.
During her studies at the Stetson University College of Law, Katelyn received numerous awards. At the Willem C. Vis Moot, she helped write the Best Claimant's Memorandum and received honorable mention for her team's Respondent Memorandum. She also received the Matthew Bender Elder Law Book Award as a distinguished student in the subject of elder law just prior to graduating in 2012.
She holds a license to practice law in Florida State Courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District and Middle District of Florida.
