Disciplined in Sophisticated Defense and Insurance Litigation

Mohammad Mubarak is an Associate at Butler. Mohammad works in our Tampa office, where he specializes in First-Party Property Coverage, related Extra-Contractual issues, Fraud and Bad Faith claims.

Mohammad attended the University of Florida graduating with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science. Mohammad continued his education at the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 2011. Mohammad was awarded the Dean’s List Award and earned a Certificate of Criminal Justice.

Before joining Butler, Mohammad served the people of the State of Florida as an Assistant State Attorney for the 13th Judicial Circuit. During his four years of service at the State Attorney’s Office, Mohammad was promoted several times ultimately serving as a senior line attorney in a felony division. As a felony senior line attorney, Mohammad managed a case load of over 200 felony cases with charges ranging from drug offenses to violent forcible felonies. Mohammad handled thousands of cases, argued hundreds of motions, and tried 37 jury trials with a conviction rate of over 70 percent.

Mohammad is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division and the Florida Muslim Bar Association. Away from the courtroom, Mohammad is a competitive sports athlete and weightlifter.

Alan Nisberg, Tracy Jurgus, and Mohammad Mubarak from Butler Weihmuller Katz Craig will be presenting at the FIFEC Annual Conference on June 6-8, 2018, in Orlando, FL, on the topics of "Law and Ethics Update 5-620” and “Fraud and Misrepresentation." 

This class provides the necessary credit for adjuster licensing through a comprehensive overview of Florida laws, regulations, licensing, and ethics in claims handling, subrogation and liability updates, and an overview of Florida law on bad faith and fraud/ misrepresentations in insurance claims and litigation.
