Tampa Subrogation & Recovery Partner Aaron Jacobs has been involved in the world of knockout boxing for many years. In 1997, he formed an amateur boxing organization called the Seminole Boxing Club at Florida State University. After graduation, he became involved with Banner Promotions, becoming a full-time Operations Manager as he participated in many nationally televised events throughout the country. During his tenure at Banner, Aaron worked on promoting events throughout the country, headlined by World Champions and boxing superstars such as Aelino Freitas, Bernard Hopkins, Marco Antonio Barrera, Naseem Hamed, Mickey Ward, and Joel Casamayor. In 2009, Aaron coordinated training camps for WBO Welterweight World Champion Miguel Cotto in Tampa for his fights against Joshua Clottey (June 2009) and Manny Pacquiao (November 2009). In addition, in July 2009, he participated in a meeting in New York City of more than thirty of the top professional boxing promoters in the United States, including Don King Productions, Golden Boy Promotions, Top Rank, Banner Promotions, DiBella Entertainment, amongst many others, to discuss the formation of a boxing promoters’ association. We are thrilled to announce that on June 20, 2025, Aaron will be inducted into the Florida Boxing Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025 in St. Petersburg Hilton Lake Carillon. Congratulations on this recognition! |
