Sarah McDonald

Sarah McDonald is Of Counsel at Butler and is based in our Tampa office. Sarah represents insurers in first-party and third-party disputes.

Sarah received a Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, in German and Women’s Studies from the University of Wisconsin. As part of her degree, she studied abroad in Rosenheim, Germany. Sarah received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco. While in law school, Sarah served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jeffrey S. White in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Sarah also received a Master of Science degree, with honors, in Information and Library Studies from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.

Prior to joining Butler, Sarah was an experienced third-party coverage attorney at various California law firms. After relocating from California to Florida, she served as in-house counsel for a Florida property and casualty insurer.

Sarah is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association.

Sarah is licensed to practice in Florida.
